Refuge…

Psm91.4

I found this cute picture on Pinterest. This is a Psalm that is dear to my heart. The message/scripture is very comforting. I hope it brings as much comfort to others as it brings to me. If you click on the picture it will take you to the designer’s page on Etsy.com; one of my favorite online shopping sites. Whenever I want to find something unique and original; I find Etsy to be the right fit for my needs. Have a great week as you find refuge under His wings.

Today I am thankful

With so many things out there to complain about or to be fearful of, it can be pretty hard to focus on what we’re thankful for. So when I saw this picture that I found on Pinterest via IFB (Independent Fashion Bloggers), it really struck a chord with me. A jar of gratitude

I saw the cutest idea one day while I was scrolling through Pinterest pinning and repinning items that captured my interest (lol, that rhymes). One of the DIY ideas I found was to take a mason jar and fill it with little notes that would retell the good things that happened to the writer on a daily basis. After the year was up, the notes would be read and the writer would have all of these wonderful memories to reflect upon. I thought the idea was awesome. What a wonderful way to pick your self up on days when you may be a little down. I know I tend to get caught up sometimes in the hustle and bustle of life and may not always remember to be as grateful as I should be.

V is for cheVron…

Picture found on Pinterest

Okay, so v really isn’t for chevron, but this nifty stripe has made a comeback in recent years. Now, with the bold beautiful colors of the summer emerging, and the pleasant pastels of the spring here; the chevron stripe has received an upgrade. I love the way chevron is being used lately in fashion and home decor.
