Salad, Salad and Away…

I’ve been feeling like Supergirl lately after all the salad that I’ve been eating. After just two weeks of substituting either my lunch or dinner for a salad, away goes the pounds. I’ve managed to drop 4.8 lbs to be exact. It was so exhilarating to see my waistline shrink a bit and to feel the extra room in my clothing. So now I’m enthusiastic about finding more salad ideas to incorporate into my diet.

Yummy in my Tummy

As my adorable nephew always says as he enjoys a treat to his liking; “Yummy in my tummy,” with his cute little voice that’s like music to my ears. My spinach and pasta delight:

1 1/2 to 2 cups of Garden Rotini Pasta
1/2 cup of whole black olives
2 cups of spinach leaves
1 tomato
1/2 cup of Italian dressing
1 tsp. parmesan cheese

Reminds me of me; hence the name Cocoa Flower 🙂 Any way, the recipe for the cookies looks great although it definitely would not help in me losing weight. And, the pictures are very pretty. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did. I’ll be trying out the recipe on a cheat day far away in the future.

For The Love Of Cocoa........ "Dam-nit, they did it again" cried Olive into the stifling air of the oven room. "I leave the room for one minute, and all the chocolate cupcakes are gone!" "All 12!" The room cleared from the scorn in her voice, Olive not one to usually cause a scene. Looking to soothe her cocoa-deprived soul, I thought to offer my newest team member some Cocoa Puffs cereal, but mentally withdrew the offer before it sprang from my lips. I didn't want to insult h … Read More
